Review by hotel critic
Nestled in the heart of Monteverde, the Green Tree Lodge is truly a hidden gem for those seeking an authentic jungle escape. My recent stay with a few fellow wildlife enthusiasts was nothing short of magical; we revelled in the stunning wooden cabins elevated among the trees, with breathtaking mountain views from our private balconies. The staff, warm and attentive, made every moment enjoyable, serving up a delicious and hearty traditional Tico breakfast that fueled our hikes and adventures. The eco-friendly design of the lodge not only minimizes its footprint but also enhances the immersive wildlife experience. I greatly appreciated the tranquil atmosphere which allowed for delightful evenings spent sharing wine and laughter while watching the rich avian life around us. With free WiFi and the convenience of a shared kitchen, the Green Tree Lodge strikes a perfect balance between comfort and functionality, making it a top choice in my book for anyone looking to explore the beautiful landscapes of Costa Rica responsibly.
